About the event

Buddhists take refuge in the Buddha (the teacher,) the Dharma (the teachings), and the Sangha - a gathering of like-minded individuals to engage in respectful discussion, share, learn, meditate, and enjoy community together.

February Topic: Boundaries.

We will open with a short meditation then move into a lightly-structured group discussion on the topic of boundaries - healthy and other, personal and professional, etc. We will close with a longer meditation. You do not need to actively participate in the group discussion, it is ok if you just want to listen and observe. We are there to learn from each other, in whatever way supports us best. However if you would like to prepare, consider what boundaries mean to you and how they show up in your life and how you exercise them.

Doors open at 6:40 and will close and lock at 7:00. There is free parking in the parking lot front and back of the building, in the spots labeled “Mindful”, and free parking on the street.

NOTE: Available props are limited - please bring what you may need to be comfortable in meditation. Meditation chairs will be provided.
